SynthPond is in fact still around

I still think that this is a really innovative app for iOS (before it was called iOS of course), and I wish it had been kept up to date, but sadly that was not to be.

I was taking a look at it again on my old iPhone 3G, and decided to look it up. I found that whilst the app wasn’t maintained for iOS it is available as a Max patch, and also for Pd as well. Which is really cool.

I thought you might be interested. You can find both patches here.

Pi Sound is a go (nearly)

This is the Blokas Pi Sound board attached to my Pi 3 with 7″ touch screen. I’m looking forward to getting some time with this soon. I’m keen to see how it works with the Android app too.

My plan is also to see how I can use Pd on the Pi as well, possibly other stuff too, like Supercollider. Who knows. This card opens up a lot of possibilities.

RJC1000 doesn’t work on Lion

That’s pretty much all I can say about that really. I was thinking about making my own scenes and remembered RJDJ’s RJC1000 application for the mac. I’d tinkered around with it before but not to any serious degree, so I thought I’d give it a try again, but it won’t load properly in Lion, so I may have to try running it on Leopard on my old mac mini.

Not ideal, but I can’t see RJDJ updating it any time soon as they’re too busy with loads of other stuff. Not that I’m complaining you understand.
