someone who's doing some things
It’s a big passion for me. Making music on the move is something I’ve been doing for a long time and I hope to do it far into the future.
It’s become a bit of an annual thing really. Whenever these three are at WOMAD some sort of live open mic thing must be done. It’s always fun and it always involves me doing some kind of electronic thing. This time on my iPhone and also on a Kaossilator 2 as well.
I enjoyed it anyway.
Like so many things I do this started off in a very different direction to the one it ended up being. Never mind. I still quite like it though
I do like using this app with stuff. You can get some really interesting sounds and effects from the various modules in my molecule synth.

We’ve got our new SoundLab site up and running. It’s already got some great resources available there and we’ll be adding more very soon. Please do check it out.
This was our first SoundLab workshop. We don’t have our new website up and running as yet, but it will be in a week or so hopefully. When it is it’ll explain all about SoundLab and what it is trying to achieve. For now, here are some great pictures of a little bit of experimentation.
Amazing to think that. I almost can’t believe that I’ve been writing Palm Sounds for just over 8 years now. How did that happen? But possibly the most amazing thing is how people have responded to it over the years and what it has created in that time. In fact, when I think about it, it can become a little overwhelming, so perhaps better not to, and just get on with it.
Yes, I think I’ll do that for now.
