A truly awesome exhibition
Great art with great company
Man Ray at the NPG
Last Saturday was an awesome day for a wide variety of reasons. The company of Mr Miki Strange. It was great to meet him after all these years online and equally great to share two exhibitions I really wanted to see with him.
Miki has posted his views of the day here and here, and I don’t think I can put down my thoughts in a more concise manner than that to be honest.
I had a pint (or three) of this on Wednesday at the Half Moon in Putney. Very nice indeed.
Another great event to remember from this summer. The GBBF was great fun this year, at least what I can remember of it anyway!
Just a few pictures from this year’s visit.
I’m a sucker for a good brewery tour, and this one was very good indeed. Great tour, great guide, lots of things to taste at the end. What could be better?
I bought a couple of these the other day, and it really is a lovely beer. Full of flavour and not too heavy at all.
Haven’t had a porter for ages, and this one was lovely.
Both lovely beers in their own ways, and both very enjoyable.
A glass of ale and a film beckons for this evening. Peaceful.
