I’m not having much luck with uploading this recording to RJDJ at the moment.

At times wonderful, and at times totally frustrating too. That’s technology, my experience of it anyway. I do a lot of stuff with technology and I suspect I will continue to do that.
Well that didn’t work then did it
Starting out with Basic4PPC
It is pretty retro I know, but it is sort of fun to mess around with things like Basic4ppc to see what I can make. Having said that there is the small problem of what actually to make using b4ppc.
You can’t really make any worthwhile music app with this language, and it isn’t too useful for anything net related. So, what should I make with it?
GuitarJack and some experimentation
I’ve been meaning to do this for a while now although I’d wanted to use my iPad 2, but it seems now that it won’t be usable as an input device for some reason. Anyway, I used the GuitarJack in my iPhone 4 and it works very well. Using it with GuitarTone is good too, which I wasn’t expecting as what I wanted to achieve was a non-guitar like sound. I got close enough.

And that’s on Android too
Hello Einstein
Testing StyleTap on the 3G again
It was around this time last year that I was experimenting with running various things on my iPhone 3G. Mainly I was trying out Android from the iDroid project, and I’ve been doing that again, but I’m also having a go with StyleTap the Palm OS emulator for jailbroken iPhones. Whilst I’m not holding out too much hope for it to be useful for any old music apps on the Palm, it may have some use elsewhere in the Palm OS universe.
Anyway, I don’t have long to see if it’s useful as I’ve only got 10 days left of the trial period to go before I have to get a licence.
