Drafts for iOS

I’ve only just heard about this app for iOS which seems to be a great companion to apps like Launch Center Pro, but both seem to come into their own when used with tweaks or hacks like these from lifehacker.

I’ve been looking for better ways to automate things in iOS, ideally in a similar way to Tasker for Android, but nothing comes close, at least not so far. However, things are improving. So I’m going to have to have a look at some of these automation ideas and see where they can take me next.

I’ll keep you posted on how the experiments are going.

Pebble is shipping …

It’s great news. It couldn’t be soon enough. I know that they’ll take a while to get them out to everyone, and that I shouldn’t expect it too soon, but it’s exciting nonetheless. Of course, the one thing that is missing at the moment is the iPhone app on the app store.

I hope that it gets here before my pebble does.

Messing with Mozzi

I’ve been spending some time with the Mozzi synthesis library for Arduino, and it really is amazing! I had no idea that the arduino could do that kind of synthesis so well. I’m really impressed with it and now I’ve got loads of ideas for how to put it into practice.
