Why I like Wojta from Intermorphic

I really do like Wojta a lot. It’s such a cool and simple way of turning a short piece of text into sound and then sharing it. Simple, effective, quick. There aren’t many apps that you can say that of. It does what it says it is going to do, and it does it.

I also like how Intermorphic have just kept making it better and better, and I’m sure they’ll continue to do that too.

Getting to grips with Processing 3

I’ve been getting back into Processing 3. As I said when it first arrived, it’s been a while since I made things with Processing, but this version looks so much better than what’s gone before. Installing libraries and tools is now just so easy. It’s amazing. It feels like I really need to get back to making some stuff with Processing again.

So I watched “I dream of wires”

It was quite interesting actually. I filled a lot of gaps in my knowledge about modulars. However, it still hasn’t made me really want one. I can understand the ideas behind them and I can understand why they are popular, but I still don’t want to commit to getting one. Perhaps it’s because I’ve never actually got my hands on one so I’m not hooked as yet. Who knows.

Still, it was interesting to watch and hear some of the views of a few artists I really respect.
