One of the attractions of Vancouver is the Gastown clock. It’s a gas clock that pipes out the time on the half and full hour. It’s quite the tourist trap. It makes a nice sound too. I took a couple of audio recordings of it and I’ll upload them in the next few days.

Vancouver Art Gallery, Mashup – The Birth of Modern Culture
I was in Vancouver for a week last week and visited the art gallery. They didn’t have much on as they were between exhibits apparently. However, this was on and was interesting in some ways.
Visiting Pyrford Lock
I didn’t even know about this lock, but stumbled on to it after visiting Wisley for the day. It was a very nice little lock and right near a pub too. I think when I’ve got a bit more time I might go back.
Craft fair at Wisley
It was such a lovely day for this craft fair at Wisley, but there was almost too much choice there. Lots of interesting stuff, some not so interesting too. But a good day out nevertheless.
The Clangers and Bagpus exhibition at the V&A Museum of Childhood
I’ve never been to the V&A’s Museum of Childhood before, but decided to drop in and take a look as I was passing the other day. They had an exhibition of the Clangers and also Bagpus, which was brilliant. I love the Clangers and always have done.
It was only a little exhibition, but it was lovely to see and I’m sure to go back to this museum soon.
Deptford Station sign
I go through Deptford Station quite a lot, but it was only the other day that I noticed that the station sign was the old fashioned British Rail type, which I quite like. I hope that they keep it.
Beach huts at Lyme Regis

I was really pleased with this photo. It was a cold and windy day and just after a big storm, but even so it was a nice walk on the beach.
It’s the Jurassic Coast and don’t I know it
Only a few days in Lyme Regis, but you can see that they’re really serious about it being the Jurassic Coast.
