I made this ages ago but realised that I hadn’t made it public in my SoundCloud account. It was made entirely using Bhajis Loops. So I thought I’d post it.

Music is a huge part of my life so it’s almost certain that this category will have a lot of stuff in it.
Listening to the new Blancmange Album, ‘Commuter 23’
It came out yesterday and I listened to the whole thing whilst I was out and about. I think that this is an album that is going to need a lot more listening. A lot more consideration. It isn’t just a bunch of electronic pop songs. There’s some deep stuff in there that requires careful and diligent listening, not just consuming.
It’s difficult to find time to do that kind of listening, but, as I’ve been a fan of Blancmanage for a very long time now, it’ll be worth it I’m sure. So when I’ve done that. I’ll let you know what I really think.
Wow, there’s a new album coming from Steve Jansen
“Tender Extinction” comes out on the 8th of April on Bandcamp! I’m really pleased. This is awesome news! His last solo album, was years and years ago, so this is brilliant. I’m really looking forward to it.

Record Store Day list published
And it’s a very interesting list too. There’s a handful on there that I’m very interested in. Some really good stuff. It’ll be interesting to see how much of it I’m able to get my hands on.
If you’re interested in the list, you can find it right here.
Chromecast Audio

I’ve been meaning to get one of these for ages now, but I’ve never got around to it. However, a friend told me that they were on sale at Curry’s for just £15 so it seemed rude not to.

There’s not much in the box itself, it’s pretty minimal, but then it doesn’t really need much does it?

The device isn’t much bigger than an iPod Shuffle, maybe a tad bigger and seems very straightforward to get going with. One audio in, one power in, that’s it. Doesn’t need much else really.
When I get it all set up, when I have a minute, I’ll let you know what I think of it.
Just me jamming out with frekvens
A little jam with the amazing frekvens and Patterning.
SoundLab wins Best SEND Resource at the Music Teacher Awards for Excellence
I posted a lot of detail about this over at PalmSounds, and if you’re really interested then please do go and take a look over there, there’s plenty of information there. But I just wanted to add the photos here and say how important this is to me, and how great it is to be a part of this team.
