I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as the first in the trilogy, which I think was the best of all. Anyway, it was ok. I did enjoy it

Well, this category is about books. Not just reading, but often for me, listening, as I do love audiobooks a lot. Although you can probably tell that by now.

This is the last in the trilogy of master stories spanning the 5th to 7th Doctors. I really enjoyed the first story. The second was ok, and, as I’m not a huge fan of Sylvester’s Doctor I was wondering whether I’d even get the last in the trilogy. But I did, and I’m glad I did. It was a good story. Not the best, not as good as the first one, but a good conclusion to the trilogy.
As three stories they work really together.
Yay! It’s been a bit of a wait but it’s here and I’ll be having a listen soon enough! It better be good, that’s all I’m saying!

I’ve been really enjoying this season of Doctor Who, so I had high hopes for this story, but it just wasn’t as good as I’d hoped. Don’t get me wrong, it was an ok story, just not an awesome story as some of the others have been. It’s not like I’m going to stop getting these stories, I’m just hoping that this is blip in the season and nothing more.

I did enjoy it but I can’t say that it was as good as the first in this trilogy. In fact it really felt like a stand alone story really rather than a continuation from the first one with the 5th Doctor. I’m hoping that the third will make sense in terms of bringing them together to form a really coherent trilogy.

And I think it probably has to be one of the best episodes of the audio series so far. It was really funny, well written and a great little story which kept me happy for an hour. I hope they do a few more like this, specifically with Andy as well, as he’s a great character and really does lighten the mood.
