I went along to this event fairly early, so I think that there were probably a few things I didn’t get to see. Even so it was pretty good and there were definitely some excellent pieces there which were very inspiring. So I’m pleased I got along there.

The 13th Redhill Beer Festival
I don’t think I’ve ever been to this beer festival. It’s one that I’ve meant to go to, but never got to. However, when I saw the logo for this festival I knew I had to go for it, and it wasn’t bad really.
There was a reasonable selection of ales and some good milds too, several of which I sampled on Friday night. I can safely say that I’ll probably do this one again though.
One day I’ll do something musical with a ZX Spectrum
Currently I don’t even have a ZX Spectrum, but I did, a long while ago, and one day I’ll have one again. When I do I’ll be running this among a number of music programs that I used to use a long time ago. That’ll be fun.
Yeah, we’re staying on a boat!
There’s a lot to be said for actually checking emails and stuff like that. Just a week or so ago I went away with some friends only to find out at the last minute that we were staying on a boat. I probably should’ve checked emails and the like, but I didn’t, so it was something of a surprise to me.
A good surprise though. The hotel was in Bratislava, on the Danube, and was perfectly adequate.
